Steps
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, butter, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until well blended.
- Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips; mix well.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Shape into 2-inch logs or press into circles using bottom of glass dipped in flour.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
- Cool completely on cooling rack.
- Over hot (not boiling) water, melt remaining 1 cup chocolate chips; remove from heat.
- Dip one end of each cookie into melted chocolate.
- Chill in refrigerator until firm (about 1 hour).
