Steps
- Bake the yellow cake in a 9x13 pan according to package directions and allow it to cool completely.
- Using the handle of a wooden spoon or a drinking straw, poke holes all over the entire surface of the cake.
- Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package directions.
- Quickly pour the pudding over the cake, concentrating on filling the holes. Spread any extra pudding evenly over the surface.
- Remove the foil lid from the tub of chocolate frosting and microwave in short intervals (10-15 seconds) until melted and pourable.
