What kind of planet?
Every name makes its own planet. The same name always makes the same one.

🧭 Places on this planet
🌍 It is a planet, not a map
There is no edge to fall off. Keep walking in one direction and you come
back to where you started — it takes about three minutes.
👆 Walk and look
One finger anywhere walks: slide it up to go forward, down to back
up, and to the side to turn. Two fingers look around.
Tap a block to build on it or dig it. The button in the bottom
left opens the blocks, and 🧱 and ⛏️ in there choose which.
🪽 Fly to float: hold ⬆️ and ⬇️ to go up and down, and 🧱⬇️ builds a
block right under you (Space and Shift on a keyboard). On a keyboard
that is W A S D to walk and the arrow keys to look; with a
mouse, drag to look.
🌐 The whole planet
🌐 in the top corner goes out into space to see the whole planet.
Drag to spin it, ➕ and ➖ (or pinch) to zoom, and tap
anywhere on it to land there. 📍 is you. 🚶 goes back to
where you were. If a phone struggles out there, ✨ Full turns to
⚡ Light, which draws the planet in bigger blocks. Key O.
⤴️ Jump
Clears a block and a bit, so you can hop onto a ledge that is too tall to
walk up. Space on a keyboard. Walk off a cliff and you fall — it
does not hurt.
⬆️ The arrow knows the way
The arrow near the top of the screen points at the nearest place you have
not found yet, and says how many steps away it is. It does not tell you
WHAT it is — that is the part worth finding out.
🧭 Six places to find
Every planet has six: 🗿 the Standing Stones, 🗼 the Spire, ⛵ the Old
Wreck, ☄️ the Fallen Star, 💧 the Quiet Pool and ⛰️ the Cairn. One on each
side of the world, and you can always get to all six on foot. Walk up to
one to find it. 🧭 at the top shows which you have.
🕊️ · 🌅 The planet keeps going
Birds fly all the way round, the same way you can. The sun goes round too
— about seven minutes for a day — so walk far enough west and you walk
into the morning. It never gets properly dark.
🧱 Build · ⛏️ Dig · ↩️ Undo
The ✛ in the middle of the screen shows the block you are pointing
at. 🧱 puts a new block against the side of it you can see, and
⛏️ takes that block away. Blocks stay where you put them, so you can
build bridges, roofs and floating islands. ↩️ takes back the last
one. You cannot put a block where you are standing, and the bottom layer
of the planet does not dig. On a keyboard, E and Q.
🟦 🟨 🟩 ⬛ ⬜ The five blocks
The button in the bottom left opens the colours. They pick what 🧱 builds with: water, sand, grass,
rock and snow. Keys 1 to 5. Digging away a block you built
shows what was under it.
👁️ Near · Middle · Far
How much of the planet is drawn at once — it is on the ⏸️ pause
card. Turn it down if the world feels slow or the phone gets warm; turn it
up for the view.
🧗 What you can climb
You can step up two blocks, or three with a ⤴️ jump. Anything
taller stops you, so walk around it — or build yourself a staircase.
🔊 Sound
Footsteps, a thud when you land, a knock when you build and a little tune
when you find somewhere. 🔊 at the top turns it off — and it stays
off in every other game here too, because that is what "quiet" means.
📋 Give your planet away
⏸️ then 📋 Share this planet turns everything you have built
into a code. Send it to somebody and they paste it into the box on the
front screen — they get your planet, hills, holes and all.
💾 It saves itself
Your planet, your beacons and where you are standing are kept as you
play. ↩️ Continue on the front screen picks it back up.
