You are a crab under the beach. Walking into sand digs it β every
tunnel down there is one you made. Clear the beach of diggers and you move
on to the next one.
π Playing
Tap the arrows, or swipe anywhere on the sand. 𫧠Pump fires a bubble hose down the tunnel you are facing. You can
also just tap the sand to pump.
You can press a direction before you reach the corner β the crab
remembers and turns as soon as it can.
𫧠How the pump works
The hose only travels down a tunnel, so line yourself up first.
When it connects, keep pressing: four puffs and the digger pops. You cannot move while you are attached. That is the whole risk β
the other diggers are still coming.
Stop pressing and it deflates, and it is dangerous again. A
half-pumped digger is not a safe one.
πͺ¨ Rocks are the big score
Dig out the square under a rock and it starts to wobble, with a red
ring round it. Then it falls.
It squashes anything underneath β including you. But get two or
three diggers under one and it pays far more than popping them:
1000, 2500, 4000, 6000.
A landed rock breaks up, so it can never seal a tunnel.
π» They come through the sand
A digger that cannot reach you through the tunnels eventually goes
see-through and drifts straight at you through solid sand. It is
slower that way, and it cannot dig β so it has to surface in a tunnel
before it can chase you properly.
This is why hiding in a pocket does not work.
π The eels spit
An eel lines up along your row and a faint blue streak appears β that is
your warning. Get out of the row, or get above or below it.
They do not spit at all on π± Sprout.
π The last one runs
When only one digger is left it heads for the surface and gets away after
a few seconds. You get the beach either way β but not the points.
π Levels
π± Sprout: three slow diggers, five turns, and no spitting. π§ Scout: four diggers, and the eels spit. π Ace: five fast diggers who lose patience quickly.
A level sets the switches in βοΈ Settings; change any and you are
playing your own mix.
