How to play
A formula is a name written in symbols. H₂O is water: two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. The small number counts the atom before it.
🏆 Challenge: answer in a row. Three wrong and the run ends. Every five right moves you up a stage. You get three hints a run. Leave any time: the run waits for you on Home.
🎯 Practice: no hearts. Hints are free, and anything you get wrong comes back later.
🔤 Skills: ten quick questions on atoms, symbols, prefixes, everyday things and ions.
Building a name or a formula: tap the pieces in order. Tap a placed piece to take it back. Some pieces are wrong on purpose. After you check, every piece is marked and the reasons are shown.
📖 Explorer shows every molecule and why it has its name. 📓 Lab Notebook keeps everything you have named.
🔊 reads the question out loud. Every piece you tap is read out too.
