Swap two gems that are next to each other to make a line of
three or more of the same shape. They pop, everything above falls
down, and new gems drop in from the top.
βοΈ Chains are where the points are
When the gems that fall in make another match on their own, that is
a chain β and each link is worth more than the last.
A line of five is worth far more than two lines of three, so it
pays to set one up rather than take the first swap you see.
π There is always a move
The board is checked before you ever see it: it never starts with a match
already made, and it always has at least one swap that works.
If the board ever does run out, it shuffles itself rather
than leaving you tapping at nothing. π‘ Hint will show you a swap,
and π Shuffle mixes the board yourself if you would rather.
β° The clock
On the timed levels the clock gets shorter as you go up β but only to
a point. Past that it stops getting shorter and stays there. It never
becomes impossible.
π Levels
π± Sprout: four shapes and no clock at all. π§ Scout: five shapes, beat the clock. π Ace: seven shapes and a tight clock.
Fewer shapes means more matches, so Sprout is the busiest board.
