Surround empty space to make territory â and surround stones to capture them.
đ Placing a stone
Tap an empty crossing to preview a stone, then tap it again (or
â Place stone) to play it. Tap somewhere else to change your mind.
âĢ Capturing
A stone group is captured when it has no liberties â no empty
crossings touching it. On the teaching levels, groups down to their last
liberty flash so you can see the danger.
đŖ Capture Go
On Teach, the first capture wins. It's the fastest way to learn
what liberties are.
đ Finishing a real game
When neither player wants to play, both pass. Then tap any stones
that are dead to remove them, and press Done â the game counts territory
plus stones and adds komi.
