đŸŽ¯ The idea

Collect four of a kind — four sevens, four kings — and lay them down as a book. Whoever has the most books when the last book is laid down wins.

đŸ—Ŗī¸ Your turn

Tap a card in your hand, then tap who you want to ask. You may only ask for a rank you are already holding — that is the rule everybody forgets, and this game will not let you break it.
If they have any, they hand over all of them and you go again. If they have none they say Go fish and you take a card from the pond. Fish exactly what you asked for and you go again too.

🧠 The whole game is listening

When somebody asks for nines, they have just told the table they are holding a nine. When somebody says go fish, they have told you what they do not have.
That is all there is to Go Fish, and it is why the levels here are about how much your opponents remember — never about them seeing your cards. They cannot see your cards.

đŸŽŖ When the pond runs dry

Once there are no cards left to fish, you may not ask a question you have already been answered — asking Kit for fives twice in a row when Kit just said no. Those asks go grey.
It keeps the last few turns moving, and it is the same rule everyone plays by at a real table anyway.

🙂 Levels

🌱 Sprout: one opponent, a short deck (aces to eights), and they remember nothing.
🧭 Scout: three players, full deck, they remember the last few asks.
🏆 Ace: four players who remember everything that has been said.
