Moths are drawn to your light. They fly in, settle into a flight above
you, and then come down at you one and two at a time. Shine at them and
they flutter off.
đ Playing
Hold âī¸ and âļī¸ to slide along the grass, or just
drag your finger anywhere on the meadow. Tap ⨠to shine.
You can only have two sparks in the air at once. That is the whole
game: waiting for the right moment is worth more than tapping fast.
đĻ They dive
A moth sitting in the flight is easy and worth a little. A moth
diving at you is hard and worth three times as much. One
that misses you flies out of the bottom, comes back over the top, and
takes its place again â so a dive you dodge is a moth you will see
later.
đŽ The lantern moth
Two of the big ones sit at the back. They take two hits, and after
the first they change colour so you know it counted.
A lantern moth can stop in mid-air and open its web. Stand in it
and it catches your firefly and carries it off â that costs you a
turn. But it is holding your friend up there, and if you
shine the lantern moth down the two of you fly together: two
sparks at once. Getting bumped as a pair costs you the pair, not a
turn.
đ Every fourth flight
A moonlight flight comes through: a whole flock, flying patterns,
never diving and never dropping a thing. Catch what you can. Catch them
all and the bonus is big.
đ Levels
đą Sprout: a small flight, slow dives, five fireflies, and
nobody takes your friend. đ§ Scout: more moths, and the lantern moths start opening webs. đ Ace: a full meadow of them, diving in threes.
A level sets the switches in âī¸ Settings; change any and you are
playing your own mix.
