🎯 The job

You drive a Shieldback, a robot built to push. Push every crate onto a striped pad and the load lifts to the lander. A pad turns green when a crate is on it.

🕹️ Driving

Swipe the depot the way you want to go: one swipe, one step. Keep holding to keep going, and let go to stop. Or tap a square and the Shieldback walks there, around the crates. On a keyboard, use the arrows or W A S D. ↩️ Undo takes a move back, as many as you like. 🔄 Restart starts the load again, and Undo can take that back too.

📦 Crates

You can push a crate, but never pull one. You cannot push two crates in a row, or a crate into a wall. A crate pushed into a corner is stuck there, so think before you push: Undo is always there if you need it.

🚪 Plates and doors

In the gatehouse a blue door stands in the doorway. It opens while something stands on the blue plate: the Shieldback, or a crate. Step off and it shuts, so leave a crate on the plate to keep it open. A door never shuts on a crate or on the Shieldback standing in it.

🔧 The Hauler

In the Hauler bay a second robot helps. The Hauler cannot push, but it pulls: step away from a crate right next to it and the crate comes too. Tap 🔄, or tap the other robot, to switch which one you drive. The yellow ring shows which.

🧊 Ice

In the cold store some of the floor is ice. Push a crate onto it and it slides on, all the way, until a wall, a crate or a robot stops it, or it slides off the ice. The Shieldback walks on ice like anywhere else.

➡️ Belts

In the belt hall some of the floor is a belt, with amber arrows the way it runs. Every time you move, a crate on a belt goes one square that way, unless something is in the way. The robots walk on belts like anywhere else.

🛗 Lifts

The lift house has two floors: upstairs is at the top, downstairs below it. Step onto a lift, or push a crate onto one, and it goes to the lift in the same place on the other floor. If something is standing on that lift, it stays where it is. The white arrow shows which way a lift goes. Tap a square upstairs and the robot walks there by a lift.
