Eat every crumb in the pantry and you move on to the next one. Four cats
are hunting you. If one catches you, that is a turn gone.
π Playing
Tap the arrows, or swipe anywhere on the pantry.
You can press a direction before you reach the corner β the mouse
remembers and turns as soon as it can.
π± They do not all chase the same way
This is the whole game, and it is why one line will not save you. Tom comes straight at you. Pounce aims at where you are going, so running in a straight
line is how it catches you. Whisker works out a spot on the far side of you from Tom β the two
of them pincer. Bumble chases from a distance and loses its nerve up close.
Every so often they all give up and head for their own corners for a few
seconds. When they suddenly turn round, that is what happened β use it.
π§ Cheese
Four wheels of cheese sit in the corners. Eat one and the cats
bolt: they turn round, slow down, and you can catch them.
The first is worth 200, then 400, then 800, then
1600 β so it is worth chasing all four on one wheel.
A caught cat runs home as a pair of eyes and comes back out. Later on the
cheese wears off faster, and eventually it only turns them round β but
that is still worth having.
π³οΈ The mouseholes
The gaps at the sides come out the other edge. Cats are slow in
there, so it is the one place you can always gain ground.
π Treats
A treat turns up near the middle twice a level and does not wait long.
They get better the further you go.
π Levels
π± Sprout: a roomy pantry, slow cats, five turns, and a
line showing where each cat is heading. π§ Scout: more ways round, and no more lines. π Ace: a tight pantry full of short cuts.
A level sets the switches in βοΈ Settings; change any and you are
playing your own mix.
