No name comes up twice. Start a round whichever way is fewer taps.
Export writes every hat to one file. That file is the only copy that survives clearing your browser data — and the only way to move your hats to another device.
Click a name to check them off, or Out to skip them. P draws, Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes.
A hat holds names. Usually a group — a standup, a card night — but nothing here assumes that: a hat of chores, restaurants or board games works exactly the same way. Each hat keeps its own names and its own round, so drawing in one never touches another.
Starting a round works two ways, and both clear every draw. All in puts every slip back — fewer taps when most of them are taking part. All out starts the hat empty and you tap In for the ones that are — fewer taps when only a few are. Neither is a setting: pick whichever is less work that day.
Either way you can tap Out beside any name to skip it, and In to bring it back, at any point in the round.
Draw a name takes one at random from the names that are in and have not been drawn yet. No name comes out twice — that is the difference between a hat and a wheel. When the hat is empty, start a new round.
Tap a name to check it off by hand, for when you are only following along. The number in the circle is the order they came out.
Undo covers every change, including deleting a name or a whole hat, and it survives closing the tab.
Everything is stored on this device and nothing is uploaded. Use Export on the hat list to keep a copy you can restore or move to another device.
